For this one, you must persuade an investigator not to dig any further.
THE PAST (any gender mid twenties through late life)
I'm glad you're feeling better, officer. You know most people don't recover that quickly. Maybe they should have a new name for your kind of heart attack. Maybe call it a "Heart Confrontation"? Or a "Heart Peaceful Protest"? Huh? Heh, heh.
Now about the past. Looks like you're getting a fresh start. Looks like I GAVE you a fresh start. Didn't I? Do you really think you would have survived the heart attack if I hadn't been there to catch it? To get you to the hospital in-- what-- five minutes?
Yep, I'm really good at driving fast. And maybe my line of work requires that I drive fast. And maybe you had some good guesses about my line of work. I think you caught sight of some crucial evidence at my place. Didn't you? Ya know before you started to breathe kinda heavy and needing to sit on my couch? Yeah, before I hoisted you up and into my little life-saver shuttle, you probably got a real good look at my place. Getaway drivers don't usually leave their stuff out on display like I do.
But I haven't been a getaway driver for long.
And maybe I deserve a fresh start. You trusted me with your life. Had no choice. So I'm saying I got no choice but to trust you with my life.
