You must get a straight answer from the enemies who have trapped you.
Matt's note: Happy mono-launch! Like many a rock band in its early stages, I'm going to lean on covers. You'll know which public-domain stuff I'm parodying because... well... I'll put it in the intro for all to see. This one was sourced from "the dagger speech" in Macbeth.
MIRROR, MIRROR (any gender, late teens and up)
You all want this, huh? This is how I get out? I finish her off? I figured it would be me or Stacey, right? Gladiator-style. Not really a fair fight, is it? I mean, given that Stacey’s confined to a wheel chair and is knocked out.
But it’s what you want, right? Because I just looked at me and Stacey in the one-way mirror and I saw my hand move over to Stacey... to her throat. But I did check, I did look down and my hand was in my pocket the whole time.
So you’re giving the old hint-hint on the screen, it’s a screen, isn’t it, not a one way mirror but a screen, yeah, yeah, yeah because you added that because this is what you want, it’s what you want IT’S WHAT YOU WANT, IT’S NOT WHAT I WANT! IT’S -Jesus, there it is again.
Hand is exiting my pocket, wrapping around Stacey’s throat and Stacey, she’s starting to shake and tremble and it would feel really good I think, it would be like squeezing a stress ball and it would feel so good because it would mean all this... one way or another it would be over, right?
Yes, I think I want that.
