INVASION (any gender, mid-thirties through late life)
Pardon the interruption. They tell me... it's... well... something... something to... deal with... but...
But, yes... this feast... such an honor. I once... I once dined here as a mere servant. In the corner, there. Many thought that was it. That was all I would be... but... b-
[pause]
[gently clears throat]
But I never gave up. I followed my dream. We...
We are a nation of dreams. Nothing is impossible here. Obstacles can be surmounted. Obstacles to the individual. Obstacles to our collective future. We move forward unafraid. We are STRONG.
And it seems we will be tested. Once again. I must leave this place. Honored as I am. The interruption. It is news from the front.
[pause]
Our borders have been penetrated. The invasion has begun.
