MATT'S NOTE: Make the two personalities very distinct but don't pause between the last word of one line and the first word of another. The audience gets the fun of being taken by surprise every time a sentence changes direction.
PORTAL (any gender, mid teens to late life)
It's really not multi-personality disorder, it's this portal that was opened in me
aaand the nice one don't really agree a lot of the time. But we do agree that it would be ooooh so nice if you could stay riiiight here
and there I get some flashes but they're gone quickly. I've got the dark one completely under control now
whaaaat would you be doing with that smart phone cutie pie? Because if you were to press the screen, dialing for help with any of those juicy fingers, I might just have to chew them
often it's nothing more than a heart flutter. I'll make sure you're never put in harm's
wait, wait, wait. I think I see something... it's glittering in the back of your beautiful blue
I'm not afraid to take a chance on you and you have nothing to be afraid of
course! That's why we were attracted to you. You have the power. You could seal up the portal and make one of us have total control of
course if you want to think about it, I understand. You need
times up, sweet thing. I've got some very important use for
you still look scared. Is it something I said?
