ANNIVERSARY: ( any gender, early twenties to late life )
Sam, honey: I know you can't see me but I want you to look up. Before the doctor comes back, before she gives us more doom and gloom, I want you to sit up, to look up and listen to me.
Baby, did you know today is our anniversary? Five years. When we got together, we both knew that we would be a couple that was... was unstoppable. Everybody who saw us, they always were blown away by us, weren't they? "Most beautiful couple I think I've ever seen" how many times did we hear that?
And now some ugliness has happened to you. Yes. Some ugliness has happened to US. And I know I can't ever imagine what it was like for you when Johnny poured that stuff on you. The pain, the terror. And your beautiful face is gone. Yes. For now, it's gone. I'm so sorry.
But Sam? Look up Sam: Whatever brought us together, that is what is going to keep us together. Whatever made us unstoppable what is what is going to help us find Johnny. And when we find that son of a bitch, he is going to pay for this in so many ways.
Get ready, babe: When the doctor comes back, she's going to give us lots of options we can't afford right now. You know it, I know it. But as soon as you're released, we're going to get to work. It's not a happy anniversary but believe me, we are going to do something about all this, we're going to do it together and it's gonna be beautiful.
