For this one, you must protect your village by striking a deal with a boy you believe to be a sorcerer.
MOONLIGHT (any gender, mid forties through late life)
[hissing for your focal point to be quiet]
Hssst!
Hsst!
Don't wake him. Your master. That IS your master there, is it not?
Shhh.
I mean no harm to you. I could DO no harm, could I? I'm a simple village elder. Not a traveling sorcerer. Yes. I know what you are. I can't sleep at night and I was out, wandering. I saw you standing on the hill, overlooking our village. The moon was lighting you from behind. You turned and your feet left the ground. You rose higher and higher. Then you disappeared over the rise.
I thought you might use this cave for refuge. You and your master.
You don't have to destroy our village.
Shh!
I know that is your mission. You wear the colors of the enemy force.
But we are simple people. We believe in the good of things. I beg you to move on from this place.
Or.
I beg you to leave your master. Come cleanse your soul amongst good people. Simple people who believe in a forgiving God. I have a child who has nearly completed her studies in shepherding souls. She is your age. And I... I dare say, she is quite beautiful. I could introduce you to her at dawn?
