PEACE (any gender, late teens to late 30s)
You are going to kill dad. I won't dress it up any other way. If you don’t help me, then we can’t kill Tony and if we can’t kill Tony, he is going to kill our dad. Dad’s too old to defend himself anymore. He's too old to defend the territory anymore. We are the strong ones.
But, right: Not you.
You think you're what- the "peaceful" one? Jay, did you ever stop to think what the territory is going to be like if Tony takes over? Southern slavery- does that seem like "peace"? Hitler’s prison camps? Because that's just about what Tony has in mind.
Jay, listen: Peace isn't about meditating in a house in the woods. Peace is about going out into the world, doing what needs to be done, letting go and moving forward. Peace is about moving forward. If Tony gets control of the territory, things will move backwards.
I can try to kill Tony on my own but I don’t think I’ll get very far, given my eyesight. And remember that Tony's taken a shine to you. I'm not threatening to give away your location. I'm just saying that it's likely I'll be captured. It's likely I'll be tortured. It's likely I'll talk at some point. I'm not perfect. Peace is never a perfect practice.
